The environmental science program prepares students to better understand and protect the environment. Environmental science majors find great career opportunities in local, state and federal government and industry.

 

During their senior year students earn credit for field experiences by:

  • Working with government and private agencies
  • Investigating, documenting and writing about environmental problems
  • Attending and conducting seminars
  •  

Students gain a strong base of knowledge in biology and chemistry through classroom study, field experiences and laboratory work. Career opportunities exist in both government and private industry and include:
