Students pursuing a degree in music benefit from performance opportunities in both choral and Handbell choirs. Opportunities are also available for keyboard and voice students to work in area churches.

An audition is required for admission into the music program. Auditions can be arranged directly with the chair of the music department after a student has been admitted to the University.

Music majors may elect to focus their study on church music or performance and may pursue careers in:

• Church music
• Conducting
• Teaching
• Songwriting
• Performing
• Graduate school or seminary
