Sports Information

Credentials: Media and photographer credentials for events at the Averett University North Campus may be obtained by working press, radio, and television by calling Sam Ferguson in the Averett Sports Information Office at 434-791-5876. All requests should be submitted at least 24 hours prior to the event. Credentials will be held at the ticket office and may be picked up at Will Call.

Statistics: A full NCAA box score and play-by-play will be available in the sports information office, located in the Grant Center, shortly after the conclusion of each game. Halftime stats will also be available on press row for basketball, soccer, football, and lacrosse.

Interviews: All interviews must be arranged through the sports information office. Post-game interviews may take place following a 10-minute cooling-off period.

For football, interviews will take place in a meeting room in the field house, located on the east end of the east end of the football stadium. Other postgame interviews will take place in the meeting room located in the Grant Center.
