Calling All Cooks Send your favorite recipes for the "Averett Cookbook" to Sandy Bash at sbash@averett.edu. Make sure you include your name on the recipe. The cookbook will be printed once enough recipes have been collected. Summer School Date Changes Attention! Dates for summer school have been changed. The new dates are: May 12-June 6 for the first term and June 9-July 3 for the second term. Security Alert Faculty and staff, please encourage your students to sign up for our new security alert system, which will deliver alerts and school closing information to their cell phones, PDAs or e-mail. This will be our way of notifying them of any problems on campus. Register at www.averett.edu/safety. Anyone who registers by Jan. 31 will be entered into a drawing for an AU sweatshirt. Faculty and staff need to register as well. |
