| SACS Update Averett received full affirmation of its accreditation at the December meeting of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SACS has requested a monitoring report on Sept. 5. That report is to address five issues: · the deployment of human resources to implement the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) · the ongoing assessment of expected outcomes and the evidence of improvement based on analysis of those results · the assessment tools for each general education outcome and the results of each of those assessments · the stability of the university’s recent financial history · the appropriate control over all of the university’s financial resources |
