your professors will expect you to focus on scholarly sources,
most of which are published in subscription databases and
journals. To identify scholarly web sites, look for the author's
name and credentials, affiliation with a university or research
institute, or nonpartisan organization, date the source was
created or updated, and references to other research. Note
whether the tone of the material reflects advocacy or an objective,
balanced investigation.

other federal, state, local, and international web sites that
focus on edcucation issues. You can often find research in
the form of publications and statistical data within these
sites. Search by keyword if a search engine is provided or
