Web Sites |
Though web sites can be interesting, even authoritative, your professors will expect you to focus on scholarly sources, most of which are published in subscription databases and journals. To identify scholarly web sites, look for the author's name and credentials, affiliation with a university or nonpartisan organization, date the source was created or updated, and references to other research. Note whether the tone of the material reflects advocacy or objective, balanced investigation. |
