How does humanities research differ from library research in the sciences?
|
The humanities draw on all aspects of human experience from prehistory to the present, in the arts, religion, literature, history, and man's relationship to the natural world.
Humanists don't like to be fenced in by one discipline. Composers write literature into music, theologians wrestle with psychological and political questions, historians study the rise of great religions and effects of climate or disease on human populations. Regardless of your course title, you will find useful sources among several fields of study in the humanities. |
