From traditional residence halls, to suites, to apartments – Averett offers a variety of residence hall options.

• Rooms include a twin bed, desk and dresser for each student. There are a limited number of 80" long beds available.  All furniture must remain in the room/suite/apartment.
• All campus buildings are non-smoking
• Free laundry facilities are located in Main Hall, Fugate Hall and in each Averett Commons Apartment.
• Rooms are wired for cable television
• All rooms offer high-speed Internet access
  

Main Hall: A traditional style residence hall, this historic building houses men on the second floor and women on the third floor. All rooms are designated singles and require no additional single room fee. Note: air conditioners are not permitted in Main Hall. Approx. room size: 10' W x 17 'L; Approx. window size: 60" W x 84" H

Davenport Hall: Davenport houses men (2nd & 3rd floors) and women (4th floor). Small, window air conditioners are permitted. Approx. room size: 12' W x 11 'L; Approx. window size: 70" W x 72" H

Danville Hall: Danville Hall houses men (2nd & 3rd floors). Small, window air conditioners are permitted. Approx. room size: 12' W x 11 'L; Approx. window size: 70" W x 72" H

Bishop Hall: A male residence hall, all rooms are configured as air-conditioned doubles. Approx. room size: 13' W x 15 'L; Approx. window size: 50" W x 652" H

Fugate Hall: Fugate features 15 suites each housing 10 residents in five rooms with a shared living area and bathroom. The building is air conditioned, carpeted and wired for high-speed Internet. Single rooms are not available in Fugate Hall. All rooms are carpeted; Approx. window size: 70" W x 72" H

Averett Commons Apartments: The Commons offers apartment-style living for 140 sophomores, juniors and seniors. Each air-conditioned apartment accommodates four students each with a single room. Features include: kitchen, washer/dryer, balcony/patio, living room and high-speed Internet.

Private Room Fee:  $600.00 per year - must be paid in advance

Single rooms are limited to specific halls and there is limited availability for single rooms.
