New Student Orientation: Freshmen Schedule

Check-In

Opening Session

Welcome from the AU administration and an overview of the weekend’s events.

Time with Orientation Leaders

Student Services Fair/Lunch

11:00am – 1:00pm

Student Center

Half of you will go to lunch and half will go to the student services fair. At the student services fair you’ll be able to take care of business. Financial aid, student accounts, campus security, residence life, the registrar’s office, and our student success offices will be set up to provide you with important information.

Foreign Language Placement

1:00pm – 1:55pm

Blount Chapel (Frith Hall)

All students who have taken French or Spanish in high school are required to take the foreign language placement exam. If you already completed the online version of this exam, you do not need to take it now – instead, meet the OLs outside Frith.

Reading Assessment/CIRP Survey

2:00pm – 3:55pm
