Averett, through its company affiliations, exchange programs, articulation agreements, and faculty led study courses, offers a great variety of opportunity for summer study, semester or year abroad programs in many countries.  Averett also has special agreements with University of Dundee, Scotland, Trinity College, University of Wales, and University of Limerick, Ireland.

 

Language study is very important to students who will seek employment with international companies.  While French and Spanish students can select any number of schools, students may take advantage of studying other languages at a variety of campuses worldwide.

Study abroad takes planning and preparation months ahead of the actual travel.  The AU Study Abroad Office will help you complete your application, figure out your financial aid package, apply for scholarships, work with your department chair and the Registrar’s Office to ensure credit transfer, provide orientation and post-orientation activities.
